Fishing Adventure - Panama

Panama is a native Indian word, meaning “An abundance of Fish.” At our lodge in Pinas Bay, Panama, we will convince you the Indians knew exactly what they were talking about! Over 250 IGFA World Records have been broken at our lodge, and the lodge currently holds 50 IGFA World Records. The Robb Report rates this resort the No 1 Salt Water Fishing Resort in the World!

Try your luck for Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, Amberjack, Rainbow Runner, Wahoo, Grouper, and Mackerel.  We can provide you with schedules allowing you to pick and choose what you’re most likely to find in the essentially smooth waters off Panama.  December through March and July through September is the best time for your Grand Slam.  Sailfish are caught year around, but your best bet is the period between May and August.  Give us a call or send an e-mail and we’ll send you our calendar of months to fish in Panama.  If you’re going to take a deep sea fishing trip this year, it must be with us at Tropic Star Lodge!
