Description

This outstanding duck shooting opportunity is in the province of Buenos Aires and is only about an hour’s ride from the international airport, requiring no additional plane rides. You will arrive in Buenos Aires in the morning, clear customs, get your gun permits, and have only a short drive to Estancia La Plegaria, your host ranch. Here you will be met by our American host, and settled into your lodging – arriving in plenty time to unpack, have lunch, and head out for your first afternoon duck hunt. Hunting is done in sloughs & fresh water ponds and lakes in the area, and the ducks are plentiful. You should find yellow-billed pintails, speckled teal, Chilean widgeon, rosy-bill pochards, red shovellers, silver teal, black-head ducks, and many other different species not available in the US. Head back to the lodge for lunch, followed by more duck or perdiz hunting in the afternoons. Dinner is always at the lodge, and is “fit for a king,” No problem with English at this lodge, since our host is a former Minnesotan who now lives full time in Argentina. Outstanding option. Price does not include airfare.
