Along the Gulf Coast and Laguna Madre migration corridor, northern Mexico holds tremendous concentrations of wintering waterfowl, creating exceptional opportunities for classic decoying ducks in warm, welcoming international settings.

Whether your primary focus is winter duck hunting or a mixed-bag adventure that includes doves and quail, Mexico delivers an unforgettable wingshooting experience defined by abundance and tradition.
Mexico Hunting Seasons
Mexico’s premier duck hunting season runs from November through February, when migratory birds concentrate heavily in the Laguna Madre wetlands and coastal lagoon systems. This period offers the most consistent and productive waterfowl hunting of the year.
White-winged dove season typically runs from August through October, providing outstanding early-season shooting. Mourning dove hunting overlaps with duck season, making it possible to combine high-volume dove afternoons with world-class winter duck hunting in a single itinerary.
