PALM Lodge: Premier Duck & Dove Wingshooting in Mexico

PALM Lodge is one of Wings Inc’s premier Mexico wingshooting destinations, located directly on the legendary Laguna Madre in the town of Carbonera, Tamaulipas. This unique coastal setting provides outstanding access to wintering waterfowl, high-volume dove shooting, and mixed-bag upland opportunities in one of northern Mexico’s most productive sporting regions.
Managed by Juan Olvera, a lifelong resident of nearby San Fernando, PALM Lodge benefits from deep local knowledge of the farmland, flight corridors, and wetland systems that make this region so consistently productive.
PALM Lodge offers one of the most seamless duck hunting setups in all of Mexico. Located literally across the street from the Laguna Madre, guests simply walk outside, step into a boat, and are immediately on the water heading into the heart of Mexico’s premier wintering duck habitat—no excessive driving or distant boat launches required.
Hunters typically fly into Harlingen, Texas (HRL), where they are met and driven across the border to the lodge in approximately two hours, making PALM Lodge one of the most accessible international duck destinations available to U.S. sportsmen.
Morning duck hunts take place over the lagoon and surrounding wetlands, while afternoons can be devoted to fast-paced dove shooting over agricultural country or quail hunting in classic upland cover. For hunters seeking world-class Mexico wingshooting with ducks, doves, and quail all in one destination, PALM Lodge stands among the finest operations available.
