DESTINATIONS

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

Alaska is an unbelievable adventure for any waterfowler! The diversity of waterfowl species there is incredible, and its beauty is unsurpassed anywhere on earth. It’s a paradise for sportsmen, with abundant seafood for the table, snowcapped mountains to view, bears and wolves to witness, and wild rivers and seas to conquer. We operate in two specific areas of the Alaskan wilderness, at St. Paul Island and in Cold Bay, Aleutian Islands.

Our St. Paul Island trip fills quickly and has a very short season, so advance bookings are essential. At this unique location, In the heart of the Bering Sea, we primarily hunt king eiders, oldsquaw, harlequin ducks, and occasional white-winged scoter. We have harvested Eurasian wigeon and … Read More

Argentina is one of our favorite and oldest destinations. The very idea for developing our business is centered on the results of travels to this vast and beautiful country many years ago!

Argentina offers a unique experience. It’s a country roughly the size of the US territory east of the Mississippi River. It has jungles in the north, glaciers in the south, with mountains in the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. There are roughly 35 to 40 million people living in the country, with over 15 million in Buenos Aires alone. It is one of the largest growers of beef cattle, and much of its landmass is dedicated to growing feed crops for the cattle. It has vast areas in forests and grainfields, providing cover and food for the… Read More

ALBERTA

In Alberta, we hunt in the vast grain fields, not far from Edmonton. This is a major staging area for Canada geese, white-front (specklebelly) geese, before migrating south. It’s a summer breeding grounds for mallards and pintails, which start moving out in late September, making way for new, more northern migrants in early October, who start south as the ponds and rivers begin to freeze. Probably the greatest wingshooting destination in North America, Mexico offers an extension of the migration template for many of our waterfowl. In addition to that, it’s one of the only quality international destinations still allowing American hunters to cross its borders to hunt & fish. Around 90% of North America’s redheads and a significant number of our pintails, all three teal, lesser scaup, gadwalls, and widgeon head across the border, utilizing the Laguna Madre as their winter home. We have been hunting in Mexico for many years and recently have settled on a couple of operations on the eastern side of the country and one specific spot near the west coast. In addition to the ducks, the skies are full of specklebelly, blue,… Read More
